Senior Linux System Administrator

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and maintain hardware and infrastructure systems
• Develop internal tools and systems to support business needs
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for technologies such as cPanel, Plesk, and virtualization
• Automate system operations using tools like Ansible
• Manage and troubleshoot Linux systems and web hosting technologies
• Configure and manage relational databases (MariaDB/MySQL)
• Optimize and maintain web servers (Apache, Litespeed, Nginx)
• Contribute to configuration management and server provisioning processes
• Collaborate on virtualization solutions (KVM, Proxmox)
• Monitor and resolve technical issues efficiently

Requirements:

• Solid knowledge of Linux (RHEL-based) and Bash scripting
• 5+ years of experience in Linux systems administration
• Expertise in virtualization technologies (KVM, Proxmox)
• Proficiency with Ansible or similar configuration management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, MySQL)
• Web server expertise (Apache, Litespeed, Nginx)
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with cPanel and/or Plesk

Nice to haves:

• Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls, VPN)
• Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, Icinga, Prometheus)
• Experience with containers (Docker, Podman)
• Coding knowledge (Python, PHP, Go)
